The MT8843AS is a Calling Number Identification Circuit 2 (CNIC2). It is a low power CMOS integrated circuit intended for receiving physical layer signals transmitted according to BT (British Telecom) SIN227 & SIN242, The M48T58Y-70PC1 is a 8Kb x 8 non-volatile static RAM and real time clock. The monolithic chip is available in two special packages to provide a highly integrated battery backed-up memory and real time clock solution.
